Life Education
And Resource Network
Welcome to the LEARN
website
Life Education
and Resource Network (LEARN) is a group of Indiana homeschooling families
from Bloomington, Monroe County, and the surrounding area. The network
is diverse and inclusive; many political backgrounds, educational philosophies,
and religious views are represented, and all are welcome. We are also
committed to providing information for the broader community about homeschooling
in Indiana; you will find hundreds of links throughout the website that
will connect you to articles, books, museums, legal information, etc.
LEARN parents have regular planning meetings to generate ideas and coordinate
activities.
To find out more
about homeschooling and LEARN, please feel free to contact either of our volunteer members
below via email or phone.
You are also invited to join us for
Open Park Day, held on the first Thursdays of the months of April through October from 1pm to 3pm.
There will be a LEARN representative there to help answer your questions. These Open Park Days are
held at Upper Cascades Park. Upper Cascades Park is located on Clubhouse Drive, take the IN 45/46
bypass to Kinser Pike. North on Kinser Pike past the turnoff for the Skate Park to the first right
(east) on Clubhouse Drive (follow signs to golf course), continue past to one-way loop road leading
to playground. Alternately, take Old Hwy. 37 to Clubhouse Drive, follow to playground.
LEARN has an e-list that is only open to members. If you found the e-list on your own through a Yahoo Groups
search, and applied to join the e-list, please be advised that you won't be admitted until you have joined
the actual LEARN entity itself.
To join LEARN, please click on the "Join LEARN" button to the left.
Print, and fill out the form, and mail it to the P.O. Box address specified on that page. Thank you.
